1) Entry-level Data Services Software Engineer

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Data Services Software Engineer to join our team in Longmont, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Entry-Level Data Services Software Developer that is motivated, energetic, and would like to learn more about one of the hottest technologies around, predictive analytics! – We’ll train you!

After training, you will solve unique problems in the management of client data, while also providing data support for predictive modeling and statistical analysis of client data. We will expect you to have an enthusiasm for working in small groups in a high-energy bootstrap environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists and participates in the research, design, development and testing of software and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems or embedded products
  • After training, use Business Objects Data Services (BODS) in order to support analytical modeling and statistical analysis of client data.
  • Store and manage client data using SQL Server.
  • Create and manage data warehouses to support analysis of client data.
  • Prepare analytical modeling output for delivery to clients using BODS after BODS training.
  • Participates in internal review of software components and systems
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained

Requirements:
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferably in a related field.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with databases
  • Experience with one or more of SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus
  • Experience with Windows
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SSIS or BODS is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

2) Software Engineer ETL

AnswerOn, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer ETL to join their team in Longmont, CO.

Utilizing your arsenal of skills and talents, you will solve unique problems in the management of client data, by designing, implementing, maintaining and executing ETL processes for the management of client data. You will also provide data support for predictive modeling and statistical analysis of client data. We will expect you to have an enthusiasm for working in small groups in a high-energy bootstrap environment. Right candidate will be trained on all these processes.

Job Responsibilities:

In this position you will be trained and responsible to create, maintain and execute custom data management (ETL) processes using:

  • Business Objects Data Services (BODS) in order to support analytical modeling and statistical analysis of client data.

  • Create and manage data warehouses to support analysis of client data.
  • Prepare analytical modeling output for delivery to clients using BODS.

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years professional experience preferred.

 Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics platforms such as SAP Business Objects Data Service Preferred.

  • Experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases.

3) Accountant

AnswerOn Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Longmont, CO.

Job Summary:

The accountant position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of AnswerOn’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.  In addition, the Accountant will oversee various office functions, work with the CEO and investors.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Transactions

  1. Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
  2. Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
  3. Process payroll in a timely manner
  4. Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
  5. Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
  6. Maintain the chart of accounts
  7. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  8. Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

Reporting

  1. Issue timely and complete financial statements
  2. Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
  3. Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
  4. Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
  5. Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
  6. Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  7. Provide for a system of management cost reports
  8. Provide financial analyses as needed, for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
  9. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations
